This Peek-a-Boo Slimline card is perfect for a little one! Brightly colored animals and a fun flip card front is the focus of this cute card.

This card begins with some Copic coloring. As I often do while waiting for my daughter to finish dance class, I Copic color images which I’ve pre-stamped. When I return to my craft room, I pull out coordinating dies to cut the images.
For today’s card, I’ve also pulled out a fantastic die from Lawn Fawn, the Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps die. This die creates an overlay with three flaps that fits a slimline card perfectly. Note – my standard for slimline cards is 8 1/2” x 3 1/2”. The die cuts and scores all the flaps, which makes creating this card easy-peasy!
After cutting the overlay from Gina K card stock in Tranquil Teal it’s down to placement of the colored die cuts and sentiment stamping. Using Gina K ink in Tranquil Teal perfectly coordinates to the flaps, and including a sentiment and a couple die cuts inside the card just continues the theme.
Distress Collage Medium adheres the frame nicely, and the sequin embellishments. Any pop-ups (only the cake for today’s card) were accomplished easily with Scrapbook.com’s double sided adhesive shapes.
This peek-a-boo slimline card was fun, and surprisingly easy to put together. In addition, with my images pre-colored, it was quick to create as well!
