This colorful ink blended birthday card has fantastic appeal, and is quick to create! Distress Oxide inks help keep the blending simple, while a stencil adds interest. To top it all off, the Label Greetings stamp set and dies from Waffle Flower provide the perfect sentiment.

This card began with ink blending. One card panel ink blended over a wave stencil, and a second panel ink blended directly on the panel.
After drying the panel, I stamped my sentiment boxes over various sections of the plain panel, allowing for multiple variations in color to appear within each text box.
The coordinating dies trimmed the sentiment boxes perfectly. I trimmed the wave panel and used double sided adhesive tape to adhere it to a card base cut from Gina K Blue Lagoon card stock.
To help frame out the sentiment boxes, I added a scrap piece of white cardstock cut into a rectangle to run down the center of the card. Double sided foam adhesive added a bit of dimension when I adhered the sentiment boxes to the card.
With that, this card was complete! I love the rainbow effect of the ink blending, while the wave stencil added a bit of needed white space. The white panel helps tone down all the color, allowing the perfect punch of brightness to show through.
