Lately, I’ve been spending more time on my art journaling. For me, the process is cathartic and helps reduce my built up stress and anxiety. As this is where my creative mind has been spending so much time, I’ve decided to share some of it with you. I hope you enjoy this art journal spread with iZink pigments.Â
In addition, my daughter has been wanting me to film an art journaling session so she could edit it for me. She’s become quite adept at iMovie, so I decided to give it a go.
This itself (filming an art journaling session) was interesting, because I generally work in multiple books and pages at the same time. While one page is drying, I move onto another. If my creative process stalls, I move onto another, etc. At any rate, I completed the spread in one sitting and I’m happy with the outcome.
Regarding the video, I feel my daughter did a fantastic job with her editing. I added a few titles and some music, but the remainder was all her. It’s amazing to see what she has taught herself and how she continues to learn new things every day.
