Autumn is my favorite season of the year – the perfect temperatures (especially the crisp air in the evenings), the gorgeous colors of leaves changing, the gathering of family and friends. In deference, my cards turn towards embodying what the season means for me. Today’s fall thank you is a combination of some cool toned fall colors, and a big thank you – which seems more on my mind as Thanksgiving draws near.
Inspiration for today’s card comes from Altenew’s Card Blog – Click Here to see the post.

Using Altenew’s Floral Frame Stamp and Die bundle, I first stamped the leaf sprigs using three Altenew inks: Frayed Leaf, Olive and Sunkissed. I cut the sprigs using the coordinating dies.
Next, additional inks (Espresso and Rocky Shore) were used to ink blend a card panel of Neenah 80lb Solar White card stock, which I then used to die my sentiment. The Inline Alpha die set provided the perfect letters for my fall thank you sentiment. As I generally do, I layered three die cuts to obtain more dimensional letters.
Gina K Kraft card stock provided the perfect card base, which I adhered the leaf sprigs directly to. Adhesive foam shapes popped up my sentiment, and Nuvo Crystal drops finished off this card.
I love the simplicity of this card – and how the ink blended panel added interest to the die cut sentiment. I often find it’s the small things that really finish off a card for me.
