Turnabout Snowflakes

Turnabout Snowflakes

Today’s turnabout snowflakes card uses non-traditional colors, a bit or sparkle and shine, and a fantastic turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th. Fairly easy to create, this card packs a punch on the interest scale.

To start, the snowflake card panel is easily created using Concord & 9th’s Snowflake turnabout stamp. I’ve already covered how to use turnabout stamps in this series, so I won’t bore you with the details again, but if you do want a refresh, Click Here to see that post.

I’m using Gina K card stock and coordinating dies in this project. Three of the four inks used in stamping are also used in matting for the card. The grey for the bottom, then the two lavender colors for the sentiment layers.

Next, I heat embossed the sentiment using Ranger Silver embossing powder. To finish, and for accents on the sentiment panel and on various areas across the snowflake panel, Nuvo Glitter Drips in Silver Moondust was perfect.

Another quick and simple card to create. No fancy techniques needed! I love the non-traditional color palette, it gives a bit of fun and whimsy to the card. Turnabout snowflakes is a sure bet!
