Today’s card utilizes the Spellbinders September 2019 Small Die of the month kit. This set is adorable and comes with all the dies to create a pair of cute trick or treaters.

I began by die cutting using random scraps of cardstock I had in my stash. Using the Spellbinders image from the packaging, I layered my die cut ghost and skeleton.

Utilizing Halloween scraps from past years’ projects, I was also able to create a backdrop for my die cuts. I fun chevron paper in purple and black, backed by a mat utilizing Gina K cardstock in Key Lime added some fun pops of color to the card.

Adhering everything together was easy using Gina K Connect glue. An A2 card base cut from Gina K cardstock in Black Onyx finished off this simple card.

The die cuts are the highlight of this card. The great focal point allows the simplicity of the card design to shine through. As a bonus, the layering of this kit is simple, and quite intuitive.
I am a big fan of Spellbinder’s monthly kits, being a member of both the Glimmer Hot Foil and Small Die clubs. Each set comes with enough items to create a complete card, in addition to having endless potential.
