Fall Wreath

Fall has officially arrived in the south and today’s card is perfect for the season. Concord & 9th’s Turnabout Jig and Wreath Turnabout Stamps make a great focal point – especially paired with Simon Says Stamp inks!

Card Setup

An A2 sized card base cut from Gina K Kraft cardstock starts this card out. Using repositional adhesive, I fixed the card base to a Turnabout Jig, using the markings on the jig to place properly.

Next, I placed the stamp alignment aid over the card base and followed this with the stamp itself. After transferring the stamp to platform lid, I removed the alignment tool and was ready to stamp.

Stamping

Inks used today are all from Simon Says Stamp: Clementine, Magnolia, Green Leaf and Sparrow. I stamped each color independently, rotating the jig and cleaning the stamp between each. After four rotations, I had a gorgeous wreath full of fall colors.

The sentiment came from Simon Says Stamp Autumn Greetings. I positioned the stamp using the Misti Stamping Tool. Starting with Clementine, I lightly inked the stamp before stamping. I purposely did not ink the entire stamp. I repeated this process with the remaining three colors, cleaning the stamp between each color. This process produced a multi-colored sentiment that ties in all colors of the wreath.

Finishing Touches

I slightly trimmed the card panel, then used double-sided tape to adhere it to an A2 card base cut from Gina K Dark Chocolate cardstock. Some Gina K Connect Glue and Enchanted Plum sequins from Honey Bee finished off this card.

I absolutely adore the colors used in this card – they really pop despite the Kraft base. The sequins tie-in perfectly, bringing everything together for this card.
