Hello! Thanks for stopping by! Today, I have three cards that pair ink blending and embossing to great effect!
Distress Oxides are my favorite way to ink blend. Starting with Bristol paper and Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tools, I blended Distress Oxide inks: Seedless Preserves, Pine Needles and Chipped Sapphire.

I start off paper, and move in circular movements onto each sheet. Moving back and forth between colors aids in a smoother blend.
After blending, I spritzed all three panels with water, affording the oxidized splatter.

Next, I used VersaMark Watermark ink to stamp sentiments from They Stamp Market’s Simply Penned set. I heat embossed using Ranger White embossing powder.
Using Hero Arts Infinity Dies in Postage Stamps, I die cut each panel. Then cut pieces of craft foam to fit under each panel, which I glued using Gina K Connect Glue.

White sequins pair nicely with the embossing and card base. The pop of color from the ink blended panels adds interest, though allowing the simplicity of the card shine through.
Hope you enjoyed today’s tutorial, here’s to a crafty weekend for you all!
